Dr. Florian Drücke

Dr. Florian Drücke studied law and finished his studies with the Maîtrise degree. In 2004, he earned his doctorate with a dissertation on competition law. After his legal training which he spent, inter alia, at the Berlin Senate Chancellery and at an international law firm that specializes in media law, he became Legal Counsel at Bundesverband Musikindustrie e.V. (BVMI; IFPI Germany) in 2006. In 2008, he took charge of the legal department and political lobbying as Head of Legal & Policy. Since November 2010, he is Managing Director of BVMI. Florian Drücke is a member of the Board of Directors of the German National Library and of the Advisory Boards of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and the Reeperbahn Festival. He testified as an expert in different Committees of the German Bundestag as well as for the Federal Constitutional Court and is the author of multiple articles on copyright law and related topics for the German media. @eindruecke; http://huff.to/1IvAASU; www.musikindustrie.de
