Thomas Lückerath (32) is Founder and Editor-in-chief of the media magazine DWDL.de, launched in 2001. Before becoming self-employed, he worked in Düsseldorf for WDR Television and NBC Europe and, parallel to setting up DWDL.de, spent four years with the “Rheinische Post”. Mr. Lückerath studied Political Science in Duisburg. He also acts as a moderator and speaker, as well as being a member of the Grimme Award jury. In February 2014, he was awarded the Bert Donnepp Prize for Media Journalism.
