Dr. Torsten Rossmann
Dr. Rossmann studied political science and scandinavian literature. Since 1995 he worked at ProSiebenSat.1 Group. As the company’s spokesman and Director of Corporate Affairs, Rossmann’s responsibilities included communication activities related to the company’s IPO in 1997 and the merging of ProSieben Media AG and Sat.1 in 2000. In 2003, he was appointed the Managing Director of N24. Since 2006, he has been Chairman of the Advisory Board at VG Media and since 2006 a Member of the Advisory Board of the German News Agency dpa. Between 2007 and 2009 he was also Managing Director of Sat.1 Satellitenfernsehen GmbH. Since 2008, he has been a Member of the Board of VPRT. Since December 2008, Torsten Rossmann has additionally been Chairman of the Management Board at MAZ & MORE TV-Produktion GmbH. In 2010 Torsten Rossmann and a group of partners acquired N24 by way of management buy-out. In 2013 he sold N24 to Axel Springer SE.
