Torsten Zarges has been chief reporter of the media magazine DWDL.de since July 2013. Previously he reported for 14 years as correspondent for the media service kress from Cologne. In addition to that, since 2014 Zarges is owner of the agency Zarges|creative talent connection, which amongst other conceptualizes special events and workshops. After his career entry at the “Westfälischen Rundschau” in Dortmund, he studied journalism and political science, did practical training at Westdeutschen Rundfunk and worked afterwards for various TV and radio desks at the WDR. Since 2004 Zarges is a regular member of the jury and the nomination committee of the Grimme-Preis. Since 2012 he has been chairman of the jury of the German radio price.
